In partnership with Colorado State University’s upcoming “Fight Like a Ram” themed basketball games, Human Bean Northern Colorado is proud to announce a fundraising effort to support cancer fighters in our area. For the month of February, The Human Bean will donate $1 from every Bright Energy with Cold Foam drink sold from all 10 drive-thru locations to the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
The CSU Fight Like a Ram basketball games serve to honor cancer warriors. The CSU basketball teams wear jerseys with the names of cancer fighters instead of their own during the Fight Like a Ram games. The women’s Fight Like a Ram game is Feb. 1 against Air Force, and the men’s Fight Like a Ram game is March 1 against Utah State.
The Human Bean is privileged to extend this spirit of support beyond the basketball court. With the purchase of a Bright Energy with Cold Foam drink, customers can help contribute to this collective effort. The drink symbolizes the campaign’s mission to bring light and hope to those battling cancer. A special drink called the “Fight Like a Ram Bright,” with CSU’s signature green and gold colors, was created for this initiative. The drink is The Human Bean’s signature Bright Energy with the sweet flavor of passion fruit and kiwi cold foam topped with CSU green and gold sprinkles.
The program will kick off with a Guest Barista Day on Jan. 30 at the 1822 S. College Ave. Fort Collins location. CSU athletes will be there to greet customers and promote the Fight Like a Ram program and games.
The Fight Like a Ram games, a highlight on CSU’s athletic calendar, celebrates the resilience and strength of those affected by cancer. This partnership with The Human Bean emphasizes the shared commitment to supporting patients and their families.
