City of Fort Collins Launches VanGo Vanpooling Incentive Program

The City of Fort Collins, in partnership with the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO) and Colorado State University, is excited to announce a new incentive program for VanGo Vanpooling service users. Effective immediately, up to 30 new participants can receive a $100 monthly subsidy for up to six months when they sign up for this eco-friendly commute option.

VanGo Vanpooling, a nationally recognized program, currently operates more than 20 routes serving nearly 100 commuters from Northern Colorado to destinations along the front range and plains. This service aims to reduce traffic congestion and pollution while offering numerous benefits to both commuters and employers.

  • Ability to relax, work or sleep during commute
  • Federal commuter tax benefits
  • Access to HOV lanes with three or more riders
  • Guaranteed ride home
  • Professional fleet maintenance
  • Reduced wear and tear on personal vehicles
Benefits for Employers

VanGo fares range from $98-362 per month, depending on the distance between origin and destination zones. Part-time fares are also available for those with flexible schedules.

To participate, commuters can create an online profile at vangovanpools.org to find vanpools matched specifically for them. The platform also allows users to track their commute, view savings and environmental benefits and access information about other transit options including Park-n-Rides, bus
