Loveland Downtown District Announces New Holiday Event: Floats on Fourth

Expanding the Festival of Lights by two blocks on 4th Street

The Loveland Downtown District is excited to introduce a brand-new holiday tradition: Floats on Fourth, a unique stationary parade debuting during the Festival of Lights on Nov. 22, 2024, in downtown Loveland. This brand-new event will transform 4th Street into a lit-up holiday display from 5-8 p.m., where holiday floats will line two blocks from Washington Street to Lincoln Avenue and create an interactive holiday experience for all ages. In addition to the stationary floats, Floats on Fourth will feature a interactive element, including marching bands, roller derby teams and other live performers.

Local organizations, nonprofits, businesses and community members are encouraged to participate by registering to create their own lit-up floats. Participants can light up vehicles, trailers and equipment as well as hand out candy or promotional items. It’s similar to a parade but without the safety concerns and costs.
