Poudre School District Foundation Announces 2024-25 Executive Committee Board Members and Leadership

The board of directors is a volunteer group of committed parents, business leaders and community members who are dedicated to helping further the mission of the Poudre School District Foundation

The Poudre School District Foundation (PSDF) recently announced their 2024-25 executive board and the addition of a new board member. All board members and a new board chair, Tracy Katz, will help support Poudre School District’s teachers, students and programming through their ongoing fund and friend raising efforts to support its four pillars: mental health, literacy, graduation with options and Compassion Fund.

PSDF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that ignites learning opportunities for students and educators in PSD that would otherwise not be financially possible, providing resources and projects that positively impact student achievement. Due to the current federal and state funding model, PSD receives the least amount per student possible from state and federal funding.

“I am very excited about the expertise and passion that each of these board members bring to the foundation and their continued commitment to making our district viable, equitable and innovative,” says Summer Shaffer, the foundation’s executive director.

“This outstanding group of PSD caregivers, former PSD parents and community members have all taken on the responsibility to advance community, business and philanthropic partnerships to ensure outcomes that support and celebrate lifelong learning opportunities and quality teachers,” says Katz, who has served on the board since 2019.
