Wilbur’s Total Beverage and the Mantooth Company came together on Friday, September 13 to fire up support for Pathways with their annual “Hamburgers for Hospice” event. The event made it easy for attendees to support Pathways’ services while enjoying delicious food. Each grilled meal – consisting of a burger, brat, or hot dog, along with chips and a drink – was offered for a minimum donation of $5. In just two hours, the event raised $1,411.

“Each year, Hamburgers for Hospice provides us with an opportunity to increase awareness of the great work Pathways does in our community,” said Mat Dinsmore, Owner of Wilbur’s Total Beverage. “We want to make sure Pathways’ services continue to help our friends, neighbors and loved ones navigate the end-of-life journey with dignity, support and comfort.”

“Hamburgers for Hospice” is made possible through the generous support of Mantooth Company and Wilbur’s Total Beverage, who provide all the food, ensuring that 100% of the donations go directly to Pathways. Each business has had a long-standing relationship with Pathways and an overall commitment to supporting local nonprofits. The funds raised at this event will be used specifically to support the Pathways Grief and Loss Program, an initiative that offers individual counseling, support groups, and creative therapies such as art and music to help individuals cope with grief following a loss or during a serious illness. Pathways’ commitment to supporting those on their grief journey is unwavering, providing essential resources and support to meet each client’s unique needs.
