Autumn and winter will soon be here, along with colder temperatures. As temperatures plunge, life gets harder for people who are homeless and those living below the poverty line. Increased energy bills and the rising cost of living can make it harder than ever to keep warm this winter. People in need may be forced to make a difficult decision: to heat or eat.
Do you have coats in your closet that you no longer wear? Give the gift of warmth by donating them to the Loveland Salvation Army. Please consider helping to provide the following:
- Coats and jackets
- Stocking caps and beanies
- Scarves
- Gloves
- Socks
- Boots and shoes
- Sweaters
- Sweatshirts and hoodies
- Sweatpants and jeans
- Blankets and sleeping bags
Unlike some other collection centers, the Loveland Salvation Army doesn’t operate a thrift store and donated items aren’t resold.
The Loveland Salvation Army believes in the dignity and equality of all people, treating those less fortunate with respect and compassion. Share the warmth in our community. Please bring your donated items to the Loveland Salvation Army, 840 N. Lincoln Avenue #101, or contribute online at loveland.salvationarmy.org.
