For the month of September, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is offering reduced membership fees for the first year for first-time members. This unique museum showcases international artwork, cultures, lifestyles and peoples, with presentations by experts and university educators.
The special rates are $20 for an individual (regularly $45), $30 for a family (regularly $65), $10 for an individual senior (regularly $35), $20 for a senior couple (regularly $45) and $5 for a student (regularly $20). Starting Sept. 1 and throughout the month, the discounted memberships can be purchased on the museum’s website.
Members enjoy free admission to exhibits for a full year, a 10 percent discount on gift shop purchases, and invitations to member-only socials and special events.
New members will also receive an invitation to the museum’s Member Appreciation Afternoon on Sunday, Oct. 13, from noon-3 p.m. Held at the Adriel Hills Clubhouse in Fort Collins, the luncheon is a chance to enjoy good food, meet other museum members and participate in fun activities.
The Global Village Museum has four galleries, an international music room, handmade Tibetan dolls in the Losel Doll House and a gnome scavenger hunt for children. The Museum is located at 200 W.
