NOCO Unify invited more than 1,000 guests to experience the thrill of America’s oldest and most prestigious race at Bank of Colorado’s sold-out Down & Derby Party. Guests were welcomed to The Grainhouse with a classic mint julep or champagne, and the lively music, dancing, local fare and an ice luge kept spirits high all day. A Best Derby Hat contest and Run for the Roses Raffle presented opportunities to win prizes, including a trip to the 2025 Kentucky Derby in Louisville. NOCO Unify, made up of 41 young professional volunteers, is projected to raise $450,000 this year through the Down & Derby Party and other events benefiting KidsPak, Respite Care, United Way of Larimer County, Realities For Children and similar organizations that serve disadvantaged youth.
