The City of Greeley’s Housing and Homeless Solutions departments will host their second community update of 2024 from 5:30-7 p.m. on Monday, June 10, at the LINC Library (501 8th Ave.).
During the event, attendees will:
- Receive an update on the city’s homelessness initiatives
- Learn about and meet the new homeless solutions outreach team and its priorities in the community
- Gain insight into the major projects being worked on by the housing department
- Engage by asking questions during the Q&A

“We welcome anyone who would like to learn more about our exciting new initiatives and engage with our teams to join us at this community update,” says Assistant City Manager Juliana Kitten. “We will offer insight into our brand-new Homeless Solutions Outreach Team that will provide much-needed resources to our community. We will also highlight our newly developed housing department and the impactful projects it plans to bring to Greeley. It’s of great importance for us to keep Greeley residents informed and allow for questions and feedback, so we hope to see everyone there on June 10.”

Greeley’s New Homeless Solutions Outreach Team
The City of Greeley is proud to announce the formation of its new Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, aimed at addressing the needs of residents, businesses and individuals experiencing homelessness within the community.
The Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, operational since April 15, is dedicated to providing essential support to those in need. Committed to proactive outreach and education, the team endeavors to connect with the community and collaborate with local partners to offer vital services and resources.
“Ensuring the well-being and safety of all Greeley residents is paramount,” says Assistant City Manager Juliana Kitten. “By establishing the Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, we are taking concrete action to address homelessness and support our community members in need. This initiative aligns with the city council’s seven key focus areas, particularly our commitment to housing for all.”
The Outreach Team can be reached daily from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. at 970.351.5005 and is available to assist individuals facing various challenges, including mental health crises, substance abuse issues and homelessness. Additionally, residents are encouraged to contact the team with any questions or concerns they may have.
For non-emergency situations such as witnessing illegal activities or feeling unsettled, residents are urged to contact the non-emergency police line at 970.350.9600. In case of emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies or imminent danger, individuals should dial 911 for immediate assistance.
The establishment of the Homeless Solutions Outreach Team underscores the City of Greeley’s commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive community for all its residents and businesses.
