The Indigenous Heritage: Past & Present event, hosted by the Campus Activities Programming Board at Aims Community College, was designed to honor indigenous heritage and raise awareness among Aims students about current challenges faced by the culture. More than 85 guests attended the event to immerse themselves in diverse traditions, enjoy dances led by Jan Iron, experience the enchanting storytelling of Rose Red Elk and gain valuable insights from Raven Payment on the issue of missing and murdered indigenous women.
