The Food Bank for Larimer County hosted its 27th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser, where more than 450 ticketholders took part in a soup dinner and silent art auction. Guests chose from 24 soups contributed by downtown Fort Collins restaurants, and a variety of local art and hand-crafted pottery was available for purchase. All proceeds benefited the food bank, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Thanks to the support of local restaurants, business partners and artists, this year’s efforts raised more than $70,000 for the food bank’s hunger relief programs.
