Green Events called for all runners, walkers, kids and self-proclaimed daredevils to come out for the Polar Bear Run and Plunge 5k to raise funds and awareness for the Larimer County Dive Rescue Team. Participants of all ages enjoyed a scenic route at Horsetooth Reservoir with view of the foothills. AFter the run, folks had the chance to dive into icy water for the plunge portion of the race. The participants warmed up with coffee and celebrated their bracery with live music, food and beer.
