The University of Northern Colorado Cancer Rehabilitation Institute (UNCCRI) held their fundraising event with nonprofit organization Frank Gale – Faith Not Fear (FGFNF) to raise a record-breaking $87,539.25. The event took place in Bank of Colorado Arena, where 138 Warriors completed a challenging obstacle course for prizes and bragging rights. The event gave over 506 donations to the Warrior and had 63 volunteers to run the event, hundreds of spectators, over 300 lunches provided by the Rio Grande Restaurant and 14 major sponsors. UNCCRI’s mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors through exercise-based rehabilitation.
