The annual Senior Helpers conference was held locally in Denver this year after a 2-year hiatus due to COVID-19. This event brings together hundreds of franchisees from across the country for networking and educational opportunities like hands-on learning with Teepa Snow, a renowned Dementia Care specialist. The event included keynote speaker Dr. Rick Rigsby whose commencement speech “Lessons from a Third Grade Dropout” has garnered millions of views worldwide. Saturday night, an awards dinner was held to celebrate the past year of franchise operations and recognize those excelling in the senior care industry. Since the event was local, owners Christina Schneider and Gil Atanasoff took the opportunity to invite some of their staff along for their first conference. It was a great weekend spent learning and networking with our counterparts from throughout the country and meeting various vendors who we otherwise only get to work with virtually.
