ECI Site Construction Management Golf Tournament Raises $28,000

ECI Site Construction Management Raises $28,000 for AIMS Foundation to support Construction Trades Scholarships

ECI Site Construction Management, Inc. (ECI) is pleased to announce that its 4th Annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 30, 2022 raised more than $28,000 for the Aims Community College Foundation’s ECI Construction Trades Scholarship. The foundation is the charitable arm of Aims Community College, and all funds raised will help offset expenses for the next generation of construction leaders.

“Thank you to the many sponsors that came out to support the construction industry and our future workforce. Because of their generosity, the sold-out tournament raised 25 percent more than last year,” said Ted Johnson, president of ECI. “ECI is built on partnerships among our people, community and industry, and we are grateful for avenues like Aims Community College that provides tangible skills that are so vital to the development of the construction industry.”

The tournament was hosted at Pelican Lakes Resort & Golf in Windsor and rallied the support of 21 sponsors that contributed immensely to the total amount raised. These funds will go towards numerous aspects of construction students’ education, including books, attendance costs, tuition, fees, etc. During times of economic uncertainty, assisting future careers in the construction industry is more important than ever.

“The Aims Foundation strives to create meaningful corporate partnerships for education to employment pathways, and ECI has been at the forefront for creating an avenue of support for students in the construction trades programs,” said Kelly Jackson, Executive Director of the Aims Foundation. “Support from the annual golf tournament ensures student success and development of a valuable workforce. We thank ECI for setting the example for industry partners and for investing in the future.”
