The 2021 Loveland Summer Concert Series Kicks-Off July 29, 2021 at the Foote Lagoon

The Loveland Summer Concert Series, hosted by the Rialto Theater, kicks-off at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Foote Lagoon Amphitheater (500 E. Third Street, Loveland, CO 80537). The Rialto Theater is thrilled to welcome everyone back to a beloved series that has been an integral part of summer for residents and visitors to northern Colorado for years.

The weekly concerts on July 29, August 5, August 12, and August 19, 2021, are free to the public and enjoyable for all ages. Amphitheater seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

2021 Concerts Schedule:

  • Thursday, July 29: Colorado Swing – performs an exciting variety of great music including classic Big Band Era standards as well as popular Broadway and Las Vegas show style arrangements. Arrangements feature the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, Les Brown, George & Ira Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter, Patsy Cline, Buddy Rich, Brian Setzer and many others.
  • Thursday, August 5: Coral Creek – a nationally acclaimed Colo-Caribbean newgrass band featuring the original music of Chris Thompson.  Inspired by the islands and the mountains alike, Coral Creek conjures a unique vibe, delivering big sounds and high-energy shows that appeal to audiences across the newgrass, rock and jamband spectrum.
  • Thursday, August 12: Hazel Miller – one of the tightest and most versatile bands on the scene.  With Hazel Miller and The Collective, you get original, Jazz, blues, R&B and popular music, each song with the bands own flavor. Guaranteed to rock the house!
  • Thursday, August 19: Bonnie & Taylor Sims – a musical couple from Texas who now make their home in the Rocky Mountains. Bonnie Sims plays mandolin and carries on the musical tradition of her father, a lifelong Texas banjo playing legend and songwriter. Taylor Sims plays flat-top guitar and is an award-winning songwriter and recording artist from wide open spaces of West Texas.

 

Main stage performances will begin at 7 pm. Kids’ activities will open at 6:30 pm and will remain open for the duration of the evening event.

The Loveland Summer Concerts and affiliated events and programs are scheduled by the Rialto Theater and facilitated by the City of Loveland Cultural Services Department.
