The Windsor Marathon, hosted by miles.Beyond, started and finished at The Island at Pelican Lakes. Nearly 800 participants from 23 states participated in the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run, and even more came out to watch. The top three racers in each distance took home custom mugs and coasters, while the top two in each age group received gift cards to local businesses. After the race, runners and families gathered for an afterparty with vendors, food, beer, a live DJ and bounce houses. The event raised $2,752 for Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center locations in Northern Colorado and several nonprofits that served runners on the course.
