The League of Women Voters of Larimer County celebrated Women’s Equality Day at the Forge Event Center with a silent auction, light bites and an inspiring keynote speech by Renee Ferrufino, president of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado. Pat Griego, Arpi Miller and Lynn Young were named this year’s honorees, a distinction given to women who demonstrate leadership and service to the community. The event raised $22,000 to fuel the league’s mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.
