More than 200 guests gathered in the grand ballroom at Colorado State University for Big Bones Canine Rescue’s second annual Bone Appétit Gala, an elegant masquerade-themed evening benefiting rescue dogs. The evening featured a silent and live auction, live music, a photo booth, adoption success stories and the premiere of a moving short film highlighting the organization’s life-saving work. The gala raised funds for veterinary care for dogs in Big Bones’ program, helping cover the medical expenses required to prepare them for adoption. The event surpassed its $80,000 fundraising goal, raising more than $100,000 to support the rescue’s mission.
