Jessup Farm will host Kid’s Entrepreneur Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, giving local children a free opportunity to set up booths and sell their own handmade items. The community event is designed to support young entrepreneurs, encourage creativity and invite families to shop small while celebrating big ideas from the next generation.
Kid’s Entrepreneur Day will feature a variety of creations made and sold by local kids, including crafts, artwork, baked goods, handmade goods and other original items. Jessup Farm will provide free booth space for participating young business owners, and participants are asked to bring their own table, tent and displays.
The event offers a focus on youth entrepreneurship, education, community engagement and summer activities. By giving kids a public platform to share their work, talk with customers and manage their own sales, Kid’s Entrepreneur Day highlights practical learning in a supportive community setting.
Guests are encouraged to bring the whole family, browse the booths, meet the young makers and support their efforts through purchases and encouragement. The event also includes a Sweet Treat Special from Josh and John’s Ice Cream, featuring $3.95 kid’s cones with sprinkles during the event.
Kid’s Entrepreneur Day reflects Jessup Farm’s focus on creating community-centered experiences that bring neighbors together. The event provides an accessible way for families to spend time at the farm while supporting children who are learning confidence, creativity, communication and basic business skills through hands-on experience.
Young entrepreneurs interested in reserving space are urged to do so before June 17 and may contact Emily Fiala at 970.317.1676 or emily@mantoothcompany.com. More information is available at jessupfarm.com.
