Founded by industry veteran Shanda Peyton, the company was created with a vision to bring higher standards, better products and a more personal experience to homeowners across Colorado. After more than a decade in the industry, Shanda saw the same frustrations repeated over and over again: poor installations, declining product quality and warranties that sounded good
on paper but failed homeowners long-term. Rather than accepting that as the norm, she decided to build something different.
Shanda brought together trusted industry professionals to create REU Windows & Doors, combining more than 30 years of experience into a company focused on craftsmanship, integrity and customer care. Located in Loveland Yards near I-25, REU specializes in luxury, high-performance windows, custom doors, siding and exterior design solutions engineered
specifically for Colorado’s climate. Their products are designed to improve energy efficiency, comfort, security, quietness, curb appeal and long-term durability. Shanda also coined the phrase “the real energy upgrade” after noticing many homeowners investing in green technologies while overlooking one of the home’s biggest sources of energy loss: outdated builder-grade windows.
The name REU comes from a Hebrew word meaning friend or guide, reflecting the company’s relationship-centered approach. Rather than treating clients like transactions, Shanda and her team walk homeowners through the process with education, transparency and genuine care. Though only in its second year of business, REU has already become a standout company in Colorado’s home exterior industry.
