An evening of food, friendly competition and impact celebrates 30 years of feeding the community

Loveland’s Community Kitchen is proud to announce its inaugural event, Forks & Fury: The Great Community Kitchen Throw Down, a signature culinary fundraising event celebrating 30 years of serving neighbors in need. The event will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Venue 319 in downtown Loveland.

This one-of-a-kind evening will bring together local chefs, restaurants and community members for a lively tasting competition centered around this year’s theme: “Homegrown Talent. Homegrown Impact.” Guests will enjoy a variety of inspired small bites from eight local chefs, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine and beer while supporting the mission of Loveland’s Community Kitchen by voting on their favorite option.

The event kicks off with a VIP hour at 5 p.m., followed by general admission at 6 p.m. Attendees will not only sample exceptional cuisine but also serve as judges, casting votes for their favorite dishes and helping crown the evening’s top culinary talent.

Beyond the competition, Forks & Fury highlights the heart of Loveland’s Community Kitchen: a place where there is a meal for the hungry, conversation for the lonely, rest for those who are struggling and a voice for those in need.

“This event is about more than great food. It’s about bringing people together to support a mission that has been serving our community for three decades,” says Caterina Hall, executive director of Loveland’s Community Kitchen. “Every bite helps ensure that our neighbors continue to have access to meals, connection and the care that they deserve.”

Proceeds from the event directly benefit Loveland’s Community Kitchen, helping expand its reach and impact for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
