Taste Local, a cherished downtown Loveland restaurant known for its fresh, locally inspired breakfast and lunch dishes, is excited to announce new ownership under Neil and Emily Jorgensen. The husband-and-wife team is committed to honoring Taste Local’s cherished roots and deep community ties while adding new energy, creativity and a stronger focus on collaboration and connection within the local community.

“Taste Local has always been about celebrating Colorado ingredients and small-town hospitality,” says co-owner Neil Jorgensen. “We’re proud to continue that tradition and bring our own passion for great food and genuine service to the table.”

Founded as a cozy neighborhood favorite, Taste Local has built a loyal following for its signature brunch dishes, artisanal coffee and seasonal menu that highlights local farmers and producers. Under the Jorgensens’ ownership, guests can expect the same welcoming atmosphere and fresh, scratch-made flavors, along with new specials, events and menu updates designed to celebrate the Loveland community.

“We’ve loved Taste Local for years as customers,” says Emily Jorgensen. “Now we’re thrilled to be part of its next chapter. Our goal is to continue to bring people together through food and to create moments that remind us how special it is to slow down and truly connect.”

Taste Local will remain open for regular hours during the ownership transition. The Jorgensens plan to continue collaborating with local vendors, artists and growers to carry on the legacy of Taste Local’s commitment to supporting Northern Colorado’s vibrant local scene.
