Celebrate Día de los Muertos with free community activities organized by the Greeley Creative District

This year, the Greeley Creative District plans to honor this important holiday with a few collaborative celebrations, including:

  • 3-5 p.m. at the LINC Library (501 8th Ave.)
    • Enjoy crafts, face-painting, light refreshments and music. These festivities honoring life, culture, heritage and love are open to all ages and will be the perfect kick-off for the event downtown.
  • 4:30-6 p.m. at 8th Street Plaza
    • Celebrate with the community in the 8th Street Plaza (between 8th Ave. & 9th Ave. in downtown Greeley) with pan de muerto, hot chocolate, family activities, live performances and a memory wall where folks can write down memories and honor whomever they choose.
  • 6-7 p.m. at the Tointon Gallery (651 10th Ave.)
    • Join a procession from 8th Street Plaza to the Tointon Gallery to see the accompanying art exhibition and contribute to a community ofrenda (NO valuables, food or items that you would like returned please).

This event is proudly sponsored by ALLO Fiber, SouthState Bank, Luna’s Tacos & Tequila, Tigre 102.1 FM, High Plains Library District, High Country Beverage, the City of Greeley and Colorado Creative Industries.
