Fifth Annual Día de Muertos Community Celebration Returns to Old Town Square

The BIPOC Alliance, in partnership with Fuerza Latina and FCCAN, is honored to host the fifth annual Día de Muertos Community Celebration from 12-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, in Old Town Square. This free, community-run event invites all of Fort Collins to gather in remembrance of loved ones who have passed and celebrate the vibrant cultural traditions of Día de Muertos.

Event highlights
  • Community Altar (12 p.m. start): The growing community altar is a cherished space for honoring ancestors and loved ones. Everyone is welcome to participate by placing a remembrance in person or by submitting photos for the virtual altar. Photo submissions can be made online.
  • Family-friendly activities: Youth and families can enjoy free face painting and other activities throughout the day.
  • Live performances: Experience an afternoon of live music and performances that celebrate the beauty and resilience of our community.
  • Refreshments: Delicious refreshments will be available, adding to the warmth and hospitality of the day.
