A group of residents is working to bring the spirit of Rotary to East Loveland, with the support of Rotary District 5440, by forming a new Rotary Club centered in the Centerra area. As part of this effort, the community is invited to attend a Rotary info session on Thursday, Oct. 23, to learn more and get involved.

The session will take place at the Kinston Hub Gathering Room, located at 6402 Union Creek Drive in Loveland. The evening will begin with light refreshments at 5 p.m., followed by an information session from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Organizers are looking to connect with individuals who are interested in:

  • Giving back to their community through service
  • Joining a global network of leaders and changemakers
  • Building lasting friendships
  • Personal and professional development
  • Community development

“We envision a vibrant, inclusive Rotary Club that reflects the growth of east Loveland,” says Kerrie Luginbill, public image chair for Rotary District 5440, which encompasses all of the clubs in Northern Colorado. “This is a great opportunity for professionals, new residents and anyone looking to make a difference locally to come together and shape the club into what matters to the east Loveland community.”

Rotary International is a global humanitarian organization with more than 1.2 million members worldwide who are dedicated to causes like literacy, health, peace and environmental sustainability. The new club aims to bring those values to east Loveland with fresh energy and local focus. Those interested in attending can RSVP online at rotary5440.org/event/rotary-information-session.
