Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins marked its 10th anniversary Demo Days with a celebration that blended community, excitement and giving back. Each year, the locally owned dealership invites riders to experience the newest Indian Motorcycle models at no cost during its free Demo Days event. Over the past two years, the dealership has added a philanthropic tradition, donating a set amount for every demo ride taken to Realities For Children.
This year, in honor of its milestone anniversary, Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins pledged $30 for every demo ride. With 137 riders participating, the effort resulted in a $4,110 donation to Realities For Children, a nonprofit dedicated to serving children in Northern Colorado who have been abused, neglected or are at risk.
“Since opening our doors 10 years ago, Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins has proudly supported Realities For Children, carrying forward the legacy of Fort Collins Motorsports, which has been a sponsor and donor for more than two decades,” says Jeff Sroufe, general manager and president of Fort Collins Motorsports and Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins.
As one of the region’s longest-standing independently owned and operated dealerships, Fort Collins Motorsports has proudly served riders for more than 25 years. Together, the two dealerships continue to honor their deep roots and shared commitment to the Northern Colorado community.
“We are so thankful for the dedicated support of Indian Motorcycle of Fort Collins and every rider who was part of the demo days that helped raise this gift to provide for the unmet emergency and healing support needs of child survivors of abuse and neglect in Northern Colorado,” says Craig Secher, executive director and founder of Realities For Children.
“None of this would be possible without the passion and generosity of the Northern Colorado riding community, including our Northern Colorado Indian Motorcycle Riders Group® (NoCo IMRG), whose members graciously volunteered throughout the day to provide food and refreshments,” Sroufe says.
