Jackson Elementary Joins Greeley Chorale for Season Opener

By: Staff

The Jackson Elementary School choir and director Cheyanna McGlothlin will join the Greeley Chorale for The Tie That Binds, the kickoff concert for the Chorale’s 61st concert season. The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at First Congregational Church of Greeley, located at 2101 16th St.

The performance is also the debut of the Chorale’s new artistic director, Clelyn Chapin.

“I am delighted to be the new artistic director of this fantastic group. The Chorale is truly one of the finest choral ensembles in the Rocky Mountain West, if not the entire country,” Chapin says. “I’m thrilled to have the Jackson Elementary Choir join us for a couple of numbers, plus a few of their own. This concert focuses on the connections that unite us: love, faith, common purpose and, of course, music.”

The Chorale will perform a variety of compositions, including works by Mendelssohn, Moses Hogan and contemporary composers. There will even be a piece from South Africa.

“I know everyone will enjoy this mixture of styles, lively rhythms and instrumentation,” Chapin says.

Tickets are $22 for adults ($27 at the door) and $10 for students ($15 at the door), plus any applicable ticket fees. Tickets are available at greeleychorale.org/tickets, at the door or by calling 970.351.4849 or visiting the UNC Ticket Office at UNC Campus Commons. Groups of 10 or more from the same purchaser are $18 each (no at-door sales for groups).
