Thousands of families filled the downtown Greeley plaza for the 9th annual anti-bullying fundraiser, Monster Day. Unique to Greeley, the event was created by local movie monster makers Ed Edmunds and Marsha Taub-Edmunds of Distortions Unlimited to support the mission of Don’t Be A Monster, a nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering youth to celebrate their uniqueness. The festivities kicked off with a Friday Fest concert headlined by Metalachi, followed by a full day of activities, including professional makeup demonstrations, a costume contest and interactive vendor booths. Together, the community helped raise $2,000 to support Don’t Be A Monster.
