About Walk and Bike Month and Everybody Bike Day

Each year, the City of Loveland’s Public Works department, Parks and Recreation and Development Services come together to organize Walk and Bike Month. The month of June is filled with events that build awareness around walking and bicycling opportunities across the community leading up to Everybody Bike Day, which is always on the fourth Wednesday in June.

Everybody Bike Day on June 25 will be a full day of celebrating biking no matter what your destination, or if you have no destination at all. Join the early birds and morning commuters at various stations along the Loveland Recreational Loop trail, Centerra Mobility Hub and at the COLT North Transit Center. At noon, take a ride down to the Foundry Plaza with your family for bike activities at Kids on the Plaza. In the afternoon, meet us after work at the Foundry for the afternoon celebration, and finish off the day by riding to the Community Night Out event in your neighborhood.

Everybody Bike Day’s station hosts are comprised of City of Loveland departments, local businesses and community organizations. The 2025 station map will be released Friday, June 13, at lovgov.org/walkandbikemonth.

Project Funding

Walk and Bike Month and Everybody Bike Day are funded through the General Fund under the Public Works’ Transportation Engineering division. The registration fees collected from the events go into the General Fund, which is then directed at the Parks and Recreation Department to cover staff time for registration facilitation.
