Of more than 500 franchises sold/started, The Picklr Fort Collins is the first location to be built from the ground up

An enthusiastic crowd of local dignitaries, pickleball fans and small business supporters gathered for the ceremonial groundbreaking of The Picklr Fort Collins at Jessup Farm Artisan Village, 1841 Jessup Drive, #100. The 27,000-square-foot facility is the first The Picklr to be built from the ground up, versus rehabilitating a vacant big-box store. The Picklr Fort Collins will provide 10 indoor pickleball courts, with proprietary outdoor surfacing, open play, league play, tournaments, a pro shop, private event space, lockers, showers and grab-and-go refreshments. Leslie Arnold will be a co-owner and operator; she also serves in these roles for The Picklr Loveland.

“We are so proud and excited to partner with Bellisimo and the Jessup Farm Artisan Village,” says Chad Preiss, one of The Picklr Fort Collins co-owners. “Our Picklr location will add a new dimension to the Jessup Farm community and will offer our members the best player experience surrounded by the great amenities offered by Jessup Farm businesses.”

“Since we began Jessup Farm in 2011, our goal has always been to create community and experiences throughout the Village,” says Gino Campana, founder of Bellisimo. “We love the idea of having activities that promote healthy lifestyles join Jessup Farm.”

Colorado Pickleball has now opened The Picklr franchises in Loveland, Thornton, Cheyenne and Aurora, and it has multiple others scheduled to open in the Denver metro area later this year, including Cherry Creek and Littleton. Long-term plans call for up to 10 facilities around the metro area.

“We’ve been waiting to put something truly special on Jessup Farm’s last two pads, and we think this is it,” Campana says.
