WeldWerks Brewing Co. will release Krush Queens, a collaboration with the Fort Collins chapter of the Pink Boots Society (PBS), on Thursday, April 4. The 6.3% ABV Hazy IPA is brewed with the 2025 Pink Boots Hop and Malt Blend, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the PBS Scholarship Fund.
The hop blend was developed in partnership with Yakima Chief Hops and women-owned farms within their grower network. Jessica Riel of Double ‘R’ Farms, Reggie Brulotte of Brulotte Farms, and Erica Lorentz of Lakeside Ranches each hand-selected their favorite lots from the 2024 harvest. The 8th Annual Blend features Krush™ hops, released in 2024 with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, and berry, alongside Simcoe®, Mosaic®, and Chinook hops.
The malt blend, sourced from Country Malt Group, features Odyssey barley, grown across the Pacific Northwest. A well-established variety originally from the UK, Odyssey is ideal for creating a balanced, low-color malt.
Krush Queens will be available on draft and in cans starting tomorrow at WeldWerks Brewing Co. and participating retailers within the brewery’s distribution footprint.
