CrossFit970 Open Challenge

CrossFit970 of Loveland teamed up with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) for its three-weekend Open Challenge in March. Members competed every Saturday in themed workout attire, enjoyed a pancake breakfast, and earned additional points by joining the NMDP registry or making a financial donation to the nonprofit. NMDP is a bone marrow registry dedicated to saving the lives of patients diagnosed with life-threatening diseases like leukemia and lymphoma. Seventy percent of all blood cancer patients rely on a stranger for a life-saving match. With a simple cheek swab, CrossFit athletes between the ages of 18 and 35 joined the registry, helping to grow this life-saving network.
