The Pelican Lakes Turkey Trot set a new run.Windsor record with 1,200 runners and walkers from across Colorado and 20 different states. The race was followed by a festive after-party, sponsored by The Water Valley Company and High Country Beverage, where everyone could relax and celebrate. Awards, including gift cards from SCHEELS Johnstown, local restaurants, and delicious pies, were given to top finishers both overall and in various age groups. The event was a huge success, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy a fun, community-focused day of fitness, camaraderie, and Thanksgiving spirit. The increased turnout reflects the growing popularity of the event and its appeal to people from near and far, all eager to start their holiday season with a memorable experience.
