Columbine West and Lemay Avenue rank number four and six in Colorado

Columbine Health Systems is pleased to announce that its Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility and its Lemay Avenue Health & Rehab Facility have been recognized by Newsweek as two of the 2025 Best Nursing Homes in the country (100-149 beds). This esteemed recognition highlights Columbine Health Systems’ commitment to providing exceptional care and quality of life for its residents.

Each year, in collaboration with Statista Inc., Newsweek identifies the country’s top-performing nursing homes based on four key pillars: performance data, recommendations of medical professionals, accreditations and resident satisfaction. This year’s list recognizes 1,050 nursing homes across the 25 states with the highest number of facilities, according to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data. The two Columbine Health Systems facilities were ranked number four and six out of the seven recognized in Colorado.

“This is an incredible achievement, and I could not be prouder of our dedicated staff,” says Elza Notario, Lemay Avenue Health’s administrator. “This recognition is a testament to the commitment, compassion and expertise each one of them brings to our residents and their families every single day.”

Columbine Health Systems’ respect for individual’s choices, their wellness programs and person-centered approach are just some of the qualities that have contributed to its stellar reputation. Through their ongoing efforts to meet the needs of each resident, Columbine Health Systems has become a trusted leader in senior care, consistently striving to uphold the highest standards in the industry.
