As part of their annual tradition to bring cheer to children in need over the holidays, Human Bean Northern Colorado hosted a toy drive from Nov. 7-Dec. 1. Customers brought new and unwrapped gifts, and cash donations, to one of The Human Bean’s 10 drive-thru locations. Donations were distributed to Santa Cops of Weld County, Life Stories and Serve 6.8 to deliver to children in Northern Colorado communities.

“We are so grateful to these organizations that help us distribute gifts to children in the area,” says Krista Smith, assistant director of operations for The Human Bean. “Their passion and desire to ensure that children in need have a good holiday is heartwarming. We were so glad to have this partnership with each nonprofit again this year.”

The Human Bean kicked off the toy drive on Nov. 7 with representatives from each nonprofit at one of their locations:

  • Santa Cops of Weld County were at 3310 23rd Ave. in Evans
  • Life Stories were at 3665 W. 10th St. in Greeley
  • Serve 6.8 were at 6180 E. Crossroads Blvd. in Loveland

Additionally, 10 percent of sales made at each of those three locations on that day, Nov. 7, were donated to the effort. Through the generosity of loyal customers and dedicated team members, Human Bean Northern Colorado donated $361.90 to Santa Cops of Weld County, along with many boxes of toys.
