The City of Greeley Neighborhood Resource Office is excited to bring back the Neighbor Labor program. This program connects local volunteers with neighbors who need help with smaller indoor and outdoor projects they can’t do on their own.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the Neighbor Labor program,” says Deputy Director of Community Development Don Threewitt. “Connecting people in a way that helps to beautify Greeley and solve neighborhood challenges can make our community even stronger.”
The program includes tasks such as snow shoveling, lawn care, light cleaning and more. Major jobs like painting and construction are not included in the program.
Apply for Help
Greeley residents needing a helping hand can apply through the city’s eTRAKiT portal at trakit.greeleygov.com/etrakit. City staff will review each application to ensure it fits the program guidelines. Once the request is approved, staff will post the project on United Way’s volunteer website.
Volunteer
Volunteers can sign up for projects on the United Way website at volunteer.unitedway-weld.org. Once there, volunteers create a free account and choose a Neighbor Labor project.
