United Way of Larimer County is excited to announce Big Hearts for Little Learners, a special fundraising event dedicated to supporting Larimer United for Child Care, United Way of Larimer County’s fund that advances affordable, high-quality child care in Larimer County. On Friday, Nov. 8, head to The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins for an evening of fun and philanthropy featuring a silent auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and an inspiring program highlighting the crucial role of childcare in our community.
For more than 65 years, United Way of Larimer County has been a trusted leader in local philanthropy, committed to ensuring that children have access to quality care that supports their development and family stability. With childcare expenses consuming more than 30 percent of many families’ incomes, the need for support is greater than ever. Larimer United for Child Care aims to bridge this gap by providing scholarships, investing in capital projects and supporting nonprofit providers.
The evening will feature:
- A curated silent auction featuring a selection of items and experiences donated by local businesses and philanthropists. This is a great opportunity to find special holiday gifts while supporting a worthy cause.

Tax Credit Opportunity
Both individuals and businesses can benefit from the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, which offers a 50 percent state income tax credit on donations of $250 or more to Larimer United for Child Care.
