The High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) will host a Native American Powwow with honored guests the Iron Family of Fort Collins on Saturday, October 19th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 2698 Bluestem Willow Drive in Loveland. This family-friendly program will celebrate Native American culture including traditional medicinal plants, cultural artifacts, and traditional songs and dances.
The Iron Family will be representing the Pawnee, Navaho, Lakota, Southern Cheyenne, Crow, Kiowa, Southern Ute, Mountain Ute, Meskwaki tribes.
All ages are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for sitting in the grass.
