Golfers gathered bright and early for the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, which featured an exciting 18-hole scramble at the beautiful Mariana Butte Golf Course. After enjoying breakfast, teams competed in various cash prize events, including Men’s Longest Drive, Men’s Closest to the Pin, Ladies’ Closest to the Pin and a Hole-in-One Contest at 164 yards. Additional competitions included Ladies’ Longest Drive, Men’s Longest Putt and Ladies’ Longest Putt. The big cash prizes went to the teams finishing in first, second and second-to-last place. The day was filled with competition, camaraderie and perfect golfing weather, plus significant funds raised for the Berthoud Chamber.
