Aims’ Aviation Day soared to new heights, bringing the community together for a day of high-flying fun. Food trucks and vendors fueled the crowd with tasty eats while The Burroughs took the event’s energy to cruising altitude. The family-friendly event offered entertainment for all ages, including drone soccer, flight simulators and pre-sold flights. More than $16,000 was raised for the Aims Aviation Program Scholarship, a boost that will help students reach new heights in their aviation careers. Aviation Day is on a steady climb, keeping the local community engaged and excited about the future of aviation and related programs at Aims Community College.
