Poudre RiverFest is an annual event that brings families, nature enthusiasts and community members together to celebrate and protect the Poudre River. This free festival invites participants of all ages to explore the river’s role as a wildlife habitat, recreational area and source of clean drinking water. The 2024 Poudre RiverFest marked its 10th anniversary, drawing over 2,500 attendees. The festival featured 55 exhibitors, six educational sessions and four local bands. Since its inception in 2014, the event has focused on public education, hands-on restoration efforts and community celebration. With the community’s support, the funds raised this year will support ecological restoration projects along the Cache la Poudre River watershed.
