Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now:
Hello! I’m Rachel Soto Vesta, a proud native of Wisconsin, where my Midwestern roots instilled in me values of hard work, kindness and community. During college, I lived in Spain, graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a degree in advertising and went on to earn my teaching certification and Master of Education from Texas State University. For 15 wonderful years, Austin, Texas was our home and we were part of an amazing community. My career in education spanned those years, during which I taught in public schools, founded a private school and led an educational nonprofit.

In 2017, my family moved to Fort Collins for a sabbatical, which led us to make Colorado our permanent home. I transitioned from education to real estate, where I’ve been able to use my skills in teaching and consulting to offer personalized service and connection. Now in my fifth year in real estate, I’m proud to have earned my certification as a Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) and to have established my independent brokerage, Rachel Vesta Homes.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?
I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come in my “Act Two,” my “Phoenix Rising,” which began in 2017 when I faced solo parenting, a cross-country move, a high-conflict divorce, and starting over in nearly every aspect of life. The challenges I experienced in resolving the real estate aspects of my divorce—nearly costing me my homeownership eligibility—were transformative. This inspired me to become a CDRE®, specializing in the often-overlooked intersection of divorce and real estate. My mission is to share my story and make a meaningful impact by supporting divorcing homeowners and the family law community.

How do you make time for self-care and/or family time?
Life is full and I’ve learned that striving for balance can often be impossible. Instead, I’ve embraced the idea of “tilting.” This approach recognizes that my priorities shift daily and through different seasons, and my time and energy should adapt accordingly. Tilting means being okay with leaving some tasks undone or saying “no” to activities and people I enjoy because my focus is on what matters most in that moment. As a high achiever, adopting this mindset has brought more ease and acceptance to my life, allowing for a flexible rhythm rather than a rigid schedule.

Myke Harris – Office Manager
Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now:
I’ve worked with The Weibel Group for 10 years. I started out in the automotive industry at Ford Motor Credit Company in Arizona, where I worked for almost a decade and moved up from collections to auditor. I got back into the industry after moving to Colorado and have worked my way up from biller to title clerk and now to office manager. I am grateful to The Weibel Group for the experience and for allowing me to continue to grow and learn that so my next move up will be controller.

Nikki Kujala – Controller
Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?
In five to 10 years, I hope to be happily retired and enjoying the beauty of our country with my husband in our RV. I am also extremely passionate about spending quality time with my family. I have five grandchildren and love that we live close to them and can be such a big part of their lives.

Kimberly Porterfield – Accounts Payable/Receivables
What are you passionate about, professionally and personally, and why?
I have been in the car business for over 21 years, and I’ve been with Fort Collins Nissan for five years. Working for The Weibel Group has been great. Not only are my coworkers awesome, they are like family. We work well together and always try to help each other out, which makes coming to work easy. When it comes to weekends, I love to spend time with my family and go camping.

Joslyn Cooper – Billing Clerk
How do you make time for self-care and/or family time?
I am a very family-oriented person. The way I practice self-care and prioritize loved ones is by spending quality time with my kids, grandson, family and friends. I have a granddaughter on the way, which we are very excited about. We play coed softball, shop, hang out in the mountains and work out together. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Abigail Thomas – Title Clerk
What are you passionate about, professionally and personally, and why?
At work, I’m passionate about the little details. In title work and life, the small pieces have to be correct and aligned in order for the big picture to come into focus. Ensuring that everything runs smoothly comes down to the minutia, and I’m a fan of things running smoothly. Personally, I have a deep passion for reading, writing and performing poetry. I find that everyone has something of value to say, and poetry is a unique and creative medium to express yourself through.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?
We are extremely proud of our staff. One of our licensed medical aestheticians, Bobbie Marriott, is one of only 10 practitioners in the country to hold a spot on the CoolSculpting Champions Advisory Board. Education/certifications:
Allura is proud to be the only medical spa in Northern Colorado with a doctor onsite daily, and a medical director who treats clients regularly. What is your business philosophy?
We are committed to the highest standards in agency representation, working as fiduciaries to promote our clients’ best interests. We believe that the traditional real estate business model no longer makes sense; consumers are highly educated, so it’s important to provide flexibility and freedom and tailor our services to their specific needs.

What are your words of advice for buyers and sellers in 2024?
Take your time when selecting a real estate broker, and find a seasoned veteran who understands the local market. Look for brokers who provide a comprehensive personal website specific to NOCO in addition to their company website. Select your broker based on their competency, negotiating skills, problem-solving and marketing strategies. The brokerage firm they work for does not necessarily make them a better broker!

What is an interesting fact about you that few know?
Both of us grew up in Loveland and were competitive swimmers for Loveland Swim Club. We both moved out of state to spread our wings and then returned to NOCO when we missed the quality of life that’s hard to beat. Stef was an archaeological supervisor with Desert Research Institute prior to entering real estate 18 years ago. Sharon created The Peaks Café in 1987 and served the first cappuccinos in Loveland. She was affectionately nicknamed “Muffy” for baking delicious muffins and cookies.

Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now:
First and foremost, I am a dance mom. My daughter is my world, and I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. I love my community and adore my family and friends. Life is short, so I try to make things as sweet as possible. Change is always hard, but I am so excited for the journey ahead.

What are you passionate about, professionally and personally, and why?
I’ve always had a passion to serve and be a leader in my community. People are my jam, and my personal and professional relationships are very important to me. It’s because of them that I am an accomplished marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment, either professionally or personally?
My biggest accomplishment is my daughter. She’s my everything, and I work every single day to give her the life she deserves. We have a great tribe that surrounds us, and for that I am grateful.

How do you give back to your community?
I have been a longtime ambassador for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I also serve on the board of the Weld Re-4 Education Foundation and was recently elected board president. Over the last two years, I’ve also been on the marketing team for the infamous Cattle Baron’s Ball.

How do you make time for self-care and/or family time?
My daughter dances nearly every day of the week at Just for Kix in Windsor, so I started teaching dance on Saturday mornings to help support her passion and spend time with her. The little dancers are so cute, and it’s fun mother-daughter bonding time.

Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now:
My early life was marked by adverse experiences, which led to poor health and low self-esteem. Drawing from my rich Mediterranean heritage, I practiced and founded a holistic approach to wellness, reclaiming my health and profound contentment. With 30 years of experience, I now passionately promote self-awareness, healing from unrecognized trauma and leadership success to female executives.

How do you make time for self-care and/or family time?
Daily self-care is crucial for achieving balance, sanity and clarity. I work hard, play even harder and strive to ensure daily joy. Setting personal boundaries and adapting to change helps maintain my family’s health, and prioritizing self-care and personal time strengthens my ability to support my family and excel professionally.

Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now:
I am the first lawyer in my family. I chose family law because, like so many, I was a child of divorce. I have made it my mission to help parents minimize the impact on their children and themselves as they go through this process. I have personally experienced every area of family law; I had a child right after graduating high school, and I am a co-parent with a long-distance parenting plan.

What is your superpower?
My superpower is my ability to recall statutes, administrative codes and case law effortlessly, even under pressure. This enables me to provide unwavering support to my clients, both in and out of the courtroom. Whether it’s during a critical moment in court or while advising clients on their legal rights and options, my extensive knowledge and quick recall allow me to navigate complex legal issues with confidence and precision.
