The Greeley Freedom 5K returned after a short hiatus, with the run.Windsor Race Series hosting 503 walkers and runners of all ages along the Greeley Stampede Parade route on the 4th of July. The race was held in downtown Greeley and featured sponsor tents, massages and light snacks for runners. Winners went home with SCHEELS and Altitude Running gift cards as well as custom belt buckles for top finishers. The 5K raised $4,000 for local nonprofit, Beef Sticks for Backpacks. Andrew O’Keefe took first place, with a time of 16 minutes and 7 seconds.
