Flourish Music Academy invites parents or other caregivers and their infant, toddler and preschool children to attend one of their free demonstration classes of Music Together, a parent/child music and movement class. They will be held in the morning on Aug. 20, 21, 27 and 28 at Flourish Music Academy in Greeley (2170 35th Ave., Suite D).
Besides being loads of fun for everyone, Music Together helps children acquire the foundational skills and disposition needed for success in music: the ability to sing in tune, move in rhythm and love music.
Flourish owner Nicole Harwell attended Music Together classes as a parent with her own children when they were young. She enjoyed it so much that she knew she had to offer Music Together for the families of Northern Colorado and is very excited to launch the program at Flourish.
“I loved the mixed-age class philosophy of Music Together, so I could bring both my kids to the same class,” Harwell says. “I loved that the music was enjoyable for both my kids and for me as an adult, and I loved that the class was developmentally appropriate to engage my kids in music while we all had a bonding experience together.”
A full, 10-week fall semester of Music Together classes will begin in September. An early bird special of $30 off is available to families who register by Aug. 31. Sibling discounts are also available. Registration is required for the free demonstration classes and the fall semester. To register or learn more, visit flourishmusicacademy.com/music-together.
