Owner and founder of Rane, neuro-integrative mindset coach

What’s your occupation? Explain your career, accomplishments and professional highlights.

I am a neuro-integrative mindset coach and founder of Rane, a company dedicated to empowering commitment-ready individuals to understand and improve their mind and brain, ultimately helping them lead lives filled with purpose, peace and passion. Since founding Rane, I have partnered with multiple organizations to extend our reach and impact, and I’ve had the privilege of giving motivational speeches that inspire and guide audiences toward personal growth and transformation. Rane also features a positive apparel line designed to spread kindness and raise awareness around mental health.

Tell us about yourself, your history and how you came to be where you are now.

I graduated at the top of my class with a degree in neuroscience, which equipped me with deep insights into the complexities of the human brain and behavior. During college, I noticed a gap between academic knowledge and practical life skills, which drove me to study how neuroscience can be combined with mindset fundamentals and personal growth tools. Now I dedicate myself to guiding others toward peace of mind and well-being, using these principles to make a positive impact on their lives. My neuro knowledge allows me to create custom plans based on areas of the brain that may need more attention as well as clients’ learning styles and current lifestyle.

Tell us something unique about you.

I am a total nerd. I spent a summer studying quantum physics and different spiritualities in my free time just for fun. Learning is my absolute passion. I also have a passion for music, dance and making personal connections. I love going to music festivals and outdoor events. Fun fact: 10-year-old me is a playable character in a paintball video game.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment or challenge you’ve overcome, either professionally or personally?

The biggest challenge I have overcome was my battle with my own brain. I used to succumb to perpetual anxiety, several eating disorders and depression, and I felt stuck for a while. Committing to myself and learning how to shift my mind, brain and life changed everything for me. I learned to see the beauty in life and myself. My truest passion now is helping others do the same.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In 10 years?

In five years, I’ll be established as a leader within the coaching industry, and Rane will be built into a large team that hosts sold-out workshops and retreats to help people improve their mental and physical wellness. In 10 years, I’ll be married with kids, along with having a successful, streamlined business making a significant impact on the lives of others through neuro-integrative work. I’ll be performing at large motivational speaking events and will have an extensive, supportive network.

What piece(s) of advice would you give to your younger self?

Trust in the process of life. There will be difficult and seemingly impossible times ahead, but you will get through them and learn from the challenges you face. Every day is an opportunity to grow. Know that all you need is already within yourself; you just need to give yourself the time and resources to connect with it. Above all, be grateful for what life has to offer.

How has your personal experience with eating disorders, anxiety and depression helped you help your clients?

Learning how the brain and mind work opened my eyes to new possibilities. Through years of university education, independent studies and committing to personal development, I have learned how to get out of my own head. I now use that knowledge to help others get out of their own head and create a life they truly love. I have a special place in my heart for helping young women because I know the struggles of being a young woman in today’s society. My first focus was high school to college-age women, but I recently expanded my demographic to women and men ages 15 to mid-life. I am excited to serve more people now.

Tell us about your positive apparel brand.

When I built my company, it seemed natural to have an apparel component centered around positivity. Our brand has a “Kind Mind” initiative, where most of the designs are centered around keeping a kind mind. By wearing our apparel, you are a reminder of kindness to your own mind and the minds of others. A portion of the proceeds from the apparel go toward funding the first session for individuals pursuing coaching, making help more accessible. I am passionate about increasing kindness wherever I can, as it’s one of the most powerful things a person can do. Having a positive mental state is directly linked to lower stress and anxiety and a longer, healthier life, and performing acts of kindness has been shown to reduce inflammation and improve immunity.
