City of Greeley Announces Funding Opportunities for Eligible CDBG and HOME Projects

The City of Greeley’s Housing Solutions Department is pleased to announce the application cycle for 2025 CDBG and HOME awards.

For more than 20 years, Greeley has received funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) programs. These funds are used for projects that meet the city’s goals and priority needs, such as:

  • Preserving, maintaining and providing access to affordable housing for homeless, low-moderate-income, underserved and special needs residents.
  • Revitalizing neighborhoods within the Redevelopment District.
  • Improving public facilities that serve the homeless, low- to moderate-income, underserved and special needs residents or low-moderate-income neighborhoods.
  • Supporting public services that assist homeless, low-moderate-income, underserved and special needs residents.

In 2025, the anticipated funding for these projects includes:

  • $123,000 for CDBG public service activities
  • $533,000 for CDBG project activities
  • $325,500 for HOME project activities
  • $65,100 for HOME project activities performed by a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO)

Proposed projects must benefit Greeley’s low- to moderate-income residents or help prevent or eliminate slum or blighted conditions.
