A construction rendering of new sinks and locker rooms for the Greeley Recreation Center remodel project.

The Greeley Recreation Center will have new locker rooms this fall. Construction on this remodel project will begin May 13, 2024, and continue through Sept. 9.

Planned Locker Room Improvements

The Culture, Parks and Recreation Department is delighted to share the following improvements will take place:

  • ADA-accessible locker rooms and family changing areas
  • New rentable and day-use lockers with individual coded locks to secure personal items
  • All-gender/family changing rooms include dedicated lockers and separate access
  • Changing rooms include child and adult tables, child safety seats and ADA benches in the showers
  • Individual non-slip showers in all locker rooms

“This project will improve accessibility to our locker rooms and pool area for all customers,” says Daniel Lawrence, recreation division manager. “We are excited about these new features and are thrilled to see them come to fruition.”

The Greeley Recreation Center pool will be closed from May 13-Sept. 9 during this project. The Family FunPlex, located at 1501 65th Ave., and Centennial Pool (weather permitting), at 2315 Reservoir Road, will be available for lap swim and water walking.
