The League of Women Voters-Larimer County (LWV-Larimer County) is thrilled to announce its upcoming celebration for Women’s Equality Day, scheduled to take place at the Sweet Heart Winery in Loveland on August 22. This event aims to honor the achievements of women in Larimer County who have significantly impacted their communities by expanding and safeguarding voting rights, empowering women to achieve their full potential, fostering environments where gender does not restrict opportunities, and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Community members are invited to nominate women in Larimer County who embody these values. Nomination forms can be found at lwv-larimercounty.org by clicking on “Support LWVLC – Women’s Equality Day.” Nominations must be submitted by June 1 to be considered.
