This year’s Berthoud Bash helped the Berthoud Schools Fund cross the threshold of $2 million raised in 15 years. More than 250 people fundraised to support the four schools in Berthoud: Berthoud Elementary, Ivy Stockwell, Turner Middle School and Berthoud High School. The evening also honored Scott and Suzanne Cavey, founders of the Berthoud Schools Fund, and their accomplishment in bringing the fundraiser to the community. The Berthoud Schools Fund provides supplemental funds for equipment and instructional resources and distributes them after determining the need, immediacy and impact on students.
